Happy New Year! It’s here and I hope you’re just as excited about 2019 as I am. Is it because everything is perfect and in place? No. It’s because now you and I get to wipe the slate clean and begin creating. In order to do that, we have to let go of last year and grab a hold of what is front of us. After all, to hold on to what has already happened, and cannot be changed, is probably not the best use of our energy!
So right now, I want you to do something. It may sound a little crazy but this may be the year when you have to be a little radical to get what you want. I want you to read and repeat these words to yourself “I welcome new into my life. New ideas, new people and new opportunities are available to me right now. Over time, I will release the things that no longer serve me and I commit to living my life in abundance.”
This might sound a little scary to some because it may be the farthest thing from your current reality but now that you’ve spoken it, you get to begin working toward it. That’s what this New Year should be about. Take time in this first week of January to open the gift of “newness”. Then take advantage of every opportunity to use that gift to be a blessing to yourself and those around you!
